There were over forty investigators and members for the first fireside. We had the ten Elders and Sisters from the area also in attendance.
Brother Bildad was one of the original pioneers of the Church in Ghana. Somewhere along the way his records were lost and this caused feelings that kept him away. The Elders tracked him out this last week and He said he was ready to come back and be re-baptized. He was very open about his desire to
Elder Laylae is the new district leader in Winneba. He is from the Tongna Community in Salt Lake City. He is fun to be around.
I guess it is hard to forget the market since we go every week. Here there is lots of smoked fish, and I still am amazed at the loads they carry on there heads.
Anyone for fresh hoof. The Ghanians' do not waste anything. This is why we are challenged with whole fish in the soup. They like all of it. Bones heads fins and tails. I will take a while before we have the same appreciation.
At District Meeting these Elders felt the world needed to know that they were not skin heads. But the hair do is simpler to deal with in this heat.
